Rangers appeal for information after spate of vandalism at park

A popular Kilmarnock country park has been targeted by heartless vandals this week.

Dean Castle Country Park was hit by a number of acts of destruction close to the swing park and animal enclosures.

Park chiefs are appealing for witnesses to come forward with any information that may help police with their investigation into the incidents.

And they posted on their Facebook page to try and spread their appeal as far as possible.

They said: "There have been a number of acts of vandalism at the Rural Life Centre at Dean Castle Country Park recently.

"We’re asking for the public’s support in reporting suspicious behaviour to the police – call 101, or inform one of our rangers."
