Rangers will return for pre-season training next Thursday after initially planning to begin preparations under Danny Rohl on Monday.

Several first-team players remain on World Cup duty as Derek McInnes seeks to prepare his side and strengthen in the summer transfer window.

As announced yesterday, Derek McInnes' side will start their league campaign the following weekend when they travel to face Dundee United on Friday, July 31.

McInnes' team will enter the Europa League at the third qualifying round in early August.
