The Gunners are next up on July 17 followed by the journey south again to Bloomfield Road on July 21 with a 7pm kick off.

Rangers have also promised to announce further games ahead of the new season and hope to have fans back through the turnstiles at Ibrox, with an open training session also pencilled in for July 23 if they get the green light.

The Light Blues had been in talks for a pre-season competition in Portugal but travel restrictions due to Covid scuppered that and they will now stay in Britain.
