Rangers announce Bayer Leverkusen friendly to be played during World Cup break

RANGERS have announced they will play Bayer Leverkusen in a friendly in December.

The Ibrox club will host the Bundesliga side for a match at the tail-end of the World Cup break.

Rangers will welcome Bayer Leverkusen to Ibrox on December 10 for a 1pm kick-off warm-up match ahead of competitive action resuming the following week.

The sides most recently faced off in the 2019/20 Europa League knockout stage with the German outfit taking a 1-0 win at Ibrox after a 3-1 triumph at their home leg.

Tickets for the firenly will go on sale exclusively to season ticket holders at 10am on Monday, November 21.

MyGers members will then have the chance to purchase match tickets from the following Monday.

General sale will open on Thursday, December 1 with tickets priced at £10 for adults, £7 for concessions and £5 for juniors.

The match will also be broadcast live to viewers around the world on Rangers TV.
