Rangers and the European rivals chasing undefeated league season as Ibrox side target 'Invicibles' tag

Dominant Rangers one of only four teams across Europe who are on the brink of going unbeaten through the entire league season.

Steven Gerrard 's side have an unblemished record as they romped to the Premiership title.

They have just three league games left to maintain their undefeated record with derby day against Celtic, Aberdeen at Ibrox and an away match at Livingston.

They hold a 20-point lead ahead of nearest rivals Celtic and their record is only rivalled by some of Europe's top clubs.

There are now only three other teams across Europe who can boast a similar record including Europa League rivals Slavia Prague.

Slavia has six games left this season if they want to go unbeaten in the Czech League. They are 18 points ahead of nearest rivals Jablonec after 28 games.

In Portugal, Sporting also have six games left in the Portuguese League, but still have work to do to secure their first title in 19 years - they are only seven points clear of second-placed Porto.

And Red Star Belgrade have six games remaining too in Serbia to complete an invincible league season. They are currently 12 points clear of bitter rivals Partizan Belgrade.
