Rangers and Northern Ireland teen Chris McKee scores first professional goal

Northern Ireland teenager Chris McKee showed his class once again by scoring his first professional goal on Tuesday night.

The Rangers striker is currently on loan with Scottish League Two side Brechin City who travelled to Cowdenbeath.

McKee scored the opener in the ninth minute, firing home from outside the area with a low drive that nestled in the bottom corner of the net.

Bobby Barr doubled the lead in the second half to complete a 2-0 win for Brechin.

McKee joined Brechin on loan last month and will remain with the League Two club until the end of the season.

The 18-year-old had been starring form Rangers' B team under Kevin Thomson and Brian Gilmour, and has earned international caps with Northern Ireland Under 17s, 19s and 21s.
