Rangers and Celtic miss out on Premier Sports semi clash but Hibs and St Johnstone eye shocks

Premier Sports Cup holders St Johnstone will face off against Celtic and Rangers take on Hibs in a pair of mouthwatering semi-finals at Hampden.

The Easter Road side were excellent in their 3-1 win over Dundee United at Tannadice and Ange Postecoglou was satisfied with his side's professional 3-0 win over Raith Rovers.

Callum Davidson said he wanted his supporters to experience a day at the national stadium after they were on outside looking in for their double Cup joy last season.

Postecoglou is hoping it is first time luck for him as he gets his first taste of the Hampden experience as Parkhead boss.

Steven Gerrard is eyeing his first domestic Cup but knows he will have his work cut out against in-form Hibs as Jack Ross looks to turn these regular visits to Mount Florida into silverware.

Both ties will be played on the weekend of November 20 and 21, where all four sides will be hoping for the Sunday slot with the fixtures coming off the back of an international week.
