Rangers winger Josh McPake and Celtic defender Stephen Welsh played their part as Scotland under-21s beat their Northern Ireland counterparts 3-2 in an in international friendly at Dumbarton this afternoon.
Scotland opened the scoring when Coatbridge's McPake sent a free kick into the box and Tom Clayton stabbed home.

Ben Wylie levelled for the visitors, firing past Archie Mair, but Scotland regained their lead just before the interval through a fine strike by Ben Williamson.
Ryan Waide pulled Northern Ireland level again in the second half, but a driving run from Daniel Mackay saw him tripped inside the box and substitute Glenn Middleton scored Scotland's winner from the spot.
Scot Gemmill's side also featured Celtic defender Welsh, who is also from Coatbridge.
