Rangers and Celtic fans spot Ange Postecoglou chance meeting with Giovanni van Bronckhorst in Glasgow deli picture claim

It's not something you see every day or, indeed, ever - certainly not outside the heat of battle.

But Celtic and Rangers fans set social media ablaze over a picture that quickly circulated online on Thursday.

It appears to show Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou, Rangers manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst and Ibrox sporting director Ross Wilson all in the same room, at the same time, in the outside world.

What do you mean these guys exist outside of football?!

The picture, taken from afar, purports to show the trio and an unidentified woman engaged in conversation at what appears to be the Eusebi Deli in Glasgow's West End.

It's left a raft of supporters scratching their heads and wondering, purely because it's just something you very rarely, if ever, see outside of a football setting.

And not least in the fierce rivalry between the two clubs.

The circumstances of the image remain unknown - was it a chance meeting? Or were they breaking down the established tribal norms of Glasgow football by sharing an afternoon together?

Either way, it certainly has people talking, not because it's a seismic event two football managers were out and about on their daily business, rather that it's all a bit of a novelty - like the first time you ever saw one of your school teachers in the pub.

For example, Steven Gerrard and Neil Lennon resided close to each other in the West End, yet neither were ever pictured together away from Ibrox or Celtic Park.

Fan reaction on Twitter ranged from the bewildered to the downright hilarious.

One fan speculated: "Gio, Wilson and ange out for lunch discussing the idea of a new podcast to challenge @opengoalsport"

And another laughed: "Still not convinced this is real lol"

There were simply some well wishes from others: "hope Ange n Gio had a good night x"

One fan stated: "This is the maddest thing I've ever seen."
