ScotRail has announced that supporters travelling to the Betfred Scottish League Cup Final from Ayrshire will benefit from extra seats on services this weekend.
Rangers take on the holders Celtic at Hampden Park on Sunday, December 8 at 3pm.
And ScotRail has confirmed that extra carriages will be added to trains to help fans get to and from the match. However, services will be much busier than normal.
Celtic fans heading to the match are advised to travel on services to Kings Park, while Rangers supporters will be directed to Mount Florida.
Customers heading to the game are advised to allow additional time for travel, as queuing systems will be in place at Glasgow Central prior to kick-off, and at Mount Florida and Kings Park after the final whistle.
Fan segregation will be in force at Glasgow Central, with separate queues in place for both sets of supporters.
Extra staff will be on hand to assist customers and, as with most large events, alcohol bans will be in place.

“We’ll be adding more seats to trains to keep people moving hassle-free, but customers should plan their journeys in advance at scotrail.co.uk or on the ScotRail app, and make sure they buy their tickets before they board.”
