Rangers 'agree' double transfer swoop for Nnamdi Ofoborh and Jack Simpson from Bournemouth

Rangers have 'agreed' pre-contract deals for Bournemouth pair Nnamdi Ofoborh and Jack Simpson, according to a report.

The Ibrox club are already looking ahead to next season after moving within touching distance of the Premiership title with a 5-0 win over Ross County.

And the Sunday Mail claim the Light Blues have sealed moves for Cherries duo Ofoborh and Simpson who are both out of contract in the summer.

Steven Gerrard is also exploring the possibility of bringing them to Ibrox this month. Ofoborh would be a useful addition in midfield as Scott Arfield remains on the sidelines.

However, that could reportedly cost Rangers in the region of £300,000.

Rangers have been long term admirers of defender Simpson after Steven Gerrard scouted him when he first arrived at the club.

The Light Blues are also looking into the possibility of signing Scott Wright from Aberdeen this month after tabling a pre-contract offer for the midfielder.
