Rangers ace Alfredo Morelos' incredible Christmas gesture as he buys gifts for struggling kids in his hometown

Rangers ace has turned festive angel after buying gifts for children in his hometown in Columbia.

The Ibrox hitman wanted to help those most in need in the Botaven area of Cereté, Córdoba and has gifted the kids with toys including dolls, cars and tablets.

The beautiful gesture is the work of Morelos' charity - the Alfredo Morelos Foundation -which he set up to help children and young people living where he grew up to realise their dreams.

Botaven is the poorest region in Columbia, but today Alfredo, 23, is giving back to the area and to the families there who are struggling at this time of year.

The Alfredo Morelos Foundation shared pictures and videos of the kids opening their presents on Instagram.

In the footage, one little boy can be seen giving a thumbs up to the camera as he opens a truck stuffed with building blocks inside.

Another young girl clutches her new toy to her chest.

Gers fans have praised the Light Blues forward for his selfless gesture.

Ce1972 wrote: "What a man."

While Cammy Connor posted: "I love Alfredo."
