Kyogo Furuhashi was the Hampden hero as Celtic lifted the League Cup.
The Hoops striker grabbed a double in the final last season and his repeated the trick this time around as Ange Postecoglou retained the trophy and claimed his third winners medal as Parkhead boss at the expense of Rangers,
The defeat brings an end to Michael Beale's unbeaten start to life at Rangers as he lost out in his first final as a manager. Alfredo Morelos gave his side a glimmer of hope at the national stadium but it wasn't enough as Celtic claimed the derby bragging rights and kept their Treble hopes alive and kicking. Here's three things we learned as the wait for a win in this competition goes on for the Ibrox men.

Fitness watch
Michael Beale had injury concerns over Malik Tillman, John Lundstam and Ryan Jack pre-match but the trio made the squad.
Tillman and Lundstram started at Hampden with their team-mate on the bench. It was a big call with January recruits Todd Cantwell and Nicolas Raskin benched.
The USA international took a few early knocks but recovered with no issue. Both subbed after 65 minutes.
The duo will play key roles between now and the end of the season but wasn't their day at Hampden.
Unbeaten run over

After a stunning start to life at Ibrox he has tasted a defeat for the first time.
A big run of games to come and he will be keen to get back to winning ways ASAP.
The Scottish Cup also offers a route back to Hampden - something he will be going all out to make sure happens.
Premiership title success could be a big ask so may well be his strongest chance for trophy success.
All in front
Rangers didn't use the pace of Ryan Kent or Fashion Sakala too often with the ball behind.
A lot of the build-up play in attack was in front of the Celtic defence with backs to goal.
One or two occasions the midfielders like John Lundstram emerged with the ball with no option over the top or down the side.
Threats of James Tavernier and Borna Barisic on overlap also nullified.
Up other end Celtic offered that threat on numerous occasions with Daizen Maeda, Jota and Kyogo Furuhashi.
