Range Rover trashed in apparent targeted daylight attack

A Range Rover Vogue has been left trashed in what appears to be a targeted attack in the middle of the day.

The parked vehicle has been left significantly damaged and looks like it has been hit with a weapon several times.

Windows to the rear and the side of the grey silver car have been smashed and the windscreeen is heavily cracked on the cobbled street of Waterloo Road in Old Market.

No other cars appeared to be damaged in the incident which took place at around midday today (May 1).

Black bin liner bags could be seen wrapped around the lower and upper part of the rear, driver's side door.

Off-duty police officer left with 'serious facial injuries' after being knocked out 

The vehicle also appears to have marks to the left hand side.

Police at the scene could not give details about the incident.
