Randy Moss has just one question for Antonio Brown

Randy Moss has been through a lot of what Antonio Brown is going through. Moss knows what it’s like to join the New England Patriots with a rough reputation. He knows what it’s like to have a tough stint with the Oakland Raiders. And Moss knows what it’s like to need some help from Bill Belichick to reclaim his career.

Brown is set to join the Patriots after forcing his way off his last two teams, the Oakland Raiders and Pittsburgh Steelers. His reputation for selfish and distracting behavior precedes him after he picked fights with members of both of his previous organizations, notably Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and general manager Kevin Colbert and Raiders general manager Mike Mayock.

So Moss posed a question for Brown on Sunday.

“Are you ready to play some football? And that’s the only question I have for him,” Moss said while on ESPN’s “NFL Sunday.” “Anytime Antonio Brown has showed up on your phone or any server, it has nothing to do with football. The next time I see Antonio Brown on my phone, it’s got to be touchdowns. Football from here on out.”

After Moss spoke, former Patriots linebacker and current NFL analysis Tedy Bruschi weighed in on why he felt the comparisons between Brown and Moss weren’t fair.

“Stop all the Randy Moss comparisons, because it’s different, because I played with this guy (Moss) when he came in,” Bruschi said on ESPN’s “Sunday Countdown” on Sunday morning. “Antonio Brown is different, based on all his activity in the last year, it’s all about himself. It’s selfish,” Bruschi continued. “That’s my opinion of his behavior up until this point. So he basically, by being signed by the Patriots, everything is important there: walkthroughs, meetings, practices, meetings after practice. Everything is important. Saturday walkthroughs — you’ve got to be there. You’re got to be present.

“He has to change. Is that possible? Can he change and be someone that can be reliable on a team that needs him?”
