The Houston Texans’ Deshaun Watson has made it clear that he’s incredibly upset with his team this offseason, with multiple outlets reporting that Watson believed he would be consulted on the team’s hiring process for a new coach and general manager.
The Texans then hired Nick Caserio away from the Patriots, and through a series of tweets, Watson has made clear he’s not pleased. At all. With anything happening in Houston.
Randy Moss, an outspoken player during his own Hall of Fame career, spoke out on ESPN, saying that Watson had every right to make his anger publicly known, because the Texans had misled him, and failed him for years.
“Just shut up and play,” Moss said, “we’re done with that era.”

Moss went all the way back to Watson’s rookie year to showcase how the Texans franchise has let him down repeatedly, from the late owner’s remarks about “inmates running the prison” to the team’s decision to trade away one of the best wide receivers in the league in DeAndre Hopkins.
As Moss pointed out, Watson did nothing but keep his head down and work hard despite everything Houston had done … until they misled him about involving him in the search for a new GM and coach.
They crossed him again, argues Moss, and Watson has every right to speak out about it.
