Tottenham supporters have been left thrilled at the prospect of a future move for Jordan Pickford.
Spurs were linked with the Everton stopper on Thursday, with The Telegraph revealing that he was being considered by Antonio Conte as a potential replacement for club captain Hugo Lloris.
The Frenchman, now at the age of 34, sees his contract expire in the summer and there appears to be no sign of an agreement to extend his stay in north London.
Should he leave the club, then Spurs will almost certainly be in the market for a new No. 1.
If reports are to be believed, Pickford is the man that the club have their eyes on, with Conte apparently keen to recruit a home grown option.
Of course, should the former Sunderland man make the switch, he will have big boots to fill with Lloris having accumulated 385 appearances for Spurs since his arrival from Lyon in 2012.
Some Spurs fans are convinced that he can step up to the task, however, with some even comparing his potential arrival to that of Arsenal’s summer signing of Aaron Ramsdale.

The Italian signed a season-long loan deal from Atalanta and has so far made seven appearances in all competitions, although none of those have come in the Premier League.
