Rams Week 6 inactives: John Kelly, Obo Okoronkwo active vs. 49ers

The Los Angeles Rams knew they would be without Todd Gurley, Aqib Talib and Clay Matthews in Week 6 against the 49ers, but their other four inactives were yet to be determined. They announced on Sunday afternoon which players won’t be available in this one and there are no real surprises.

David Long, Coleman Shelton, Bobby Evans and Tanzel Smart are the other four players sidelined on Sunday as healthy scratches.

John Kelly, who the Rams called up from the practice squad, is active. The same goes for Ogbonnia Okoronkwo, who could make his NFL debut. This is the first time in two seasons he’s been active.

The Rams are looking for help at outside linebacker with Matthews injured, which is why both Okoronkwo and Natrez Patrick are active. It’ll be worth watching how much each one plays.

On the 49ers’ side, George Kittle is officially active. Running back Jeff Wilson Jr. is also available in this one with Kyle Juszczyk out due to injury. San Francisco has plenty of backs at its disposal this week.
