Rams waive OLB Jeff Holland

After adding nine rookies in the draft and another 20 as undrafted free agents, the Los Angeles Rams have continued to tweak their roster. On Monday, the team waived outside linebacker Jeff Holland who signed to the Rams’ practice squad in December and earned a futures contract at the end of the season.

Holland entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent in 2018, signing with the Denver Broncos out of Auburn. He appeared in three games as a rookie but has since bounced around practice squads, making stops with the Cardinals, Bills and Chargers before the Rams.

The Rams had space on their 90-man roster for Holland, but it’s not unusual for teams to waive players and sign others after the draft.
