To begin the week, the Los Angeles Rams opened as nine-point favorites over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They’re clearly the better team, sitting at 3-0 after beating the Panthers, Saints and Browns to open the season.
The Buccaneers imploded last week against the Giants and blew a big lead, which set them back to 1-2 on the year. This isn’t a guaranteed win for the Rams, but a loss would be hugely disappointing given the circumstances.
As the week has gone on, the betting line has pushed further in the Rams’ direction. At BetMGM, they’re now 10.5-point favorites over the Buccaneers. The over/under has dropped to 49.5 points.
This could be the result of Tyler Higbee and Austin Blythe being fully healthy, as well as everyone else on the Rams’ roster. On the Buccaneers’ side, Chris Godwin and Ryan Jensen are questionable, as is Demar Dotson, who popped up on the injury report Friday after being limited.
The Rams are big favorites in this one, as they should be. But they still have to show up and put together a solid performance to avoid being upset by a lesser opponent.
