Rams still open as huge favorites over Jaguars despite 3-game losing streak

The month of November was one the Rams would rather forget. They went 0-3 and didn’t score a single point in the first quarter, losing to the Titans, 49ers and the Packers. But despite their three-game losing streak, the Rams are still heavy favorites in Week 13.

Playing host to the 2-9 Jaguars, the Rams opened as 13.5-point favorites, according to Tipico Sportsbook. It’s the largest spread of Week 13 so far, four points higher than the Chiefs-Broncos game, which has Kansas City as 9.5-point favorites.

The over/under is 47.5 points in Rams-Jaguars, with the Rams money line being -900. That means a $900 wager on the Rams to win would return a profit of $100. Los Angeles has been terrible at covering the spread this season, going 4-7 against the spread – the same record held by the Jaguars.

The last five games have been especially tough for the Rams, going 0-5 ATS in that stretch against the Lions, Texans, Titans, 49ers and Packers. They were favored in all five of those games but only won two of them.

The Jaguars’ two wins this season came against the Dolphins and Bills, beating Buffalo 9-6 and Miami 23-20, so even their victories have been by narrow margins.
