Rams signing UAB CB Brontae Harris, bringing UDFA total to 10

After initially announcing an undrafted free agent class of nine players on Saturday after the draft, the Los Angeles Rams added one more on Sunday. They are signing UAB defensive back Brontae Harris as an undrafted rookie.

Harris is primarily a slot corner, standing only 5-foot-9 and 178 pounds. He spent four years at UAB, but he played just three seasons after missing the entire 2019 campaign due to a foot injury.

In 28 games, he made 76 tackles, picked off four passes and had 16 passes defended. He returned one interception for a touchdown and also had eight tackles for a loss.

He only had one interception last season, but it was a spectacular one, tipping it with one hand before bringing it into his body as he went to the ground.

Harris will be fighting for a spot on the 53-man roster this summer but with the Rams lacking depth at cornerback, never rule out the possibility of him making the team.
