Rams’ Sean McVay points out obvious flaw in NFL’s return plan: ‘I don’t get it!’

HBO’s Hard Knocks is set to officially return in August with a first for the series — focusing on two teams in the same city, the Los Angeles Rams and Chargers.

But there are other challenges ahead for the series and for those teams: how will training camps and those filming them adjust to the restrictions put on them due to the coronavirus pandemic?

On the same day that Dr. Anthony Fauci recommended the league go “essentially in a bubble” this season and NFL chief medical officer Dr. Allen Sills responded, Rams head coach Sean McVay had a moment on a Hard Knocks call with the media where he wondered how football in 2020 is going to work:

His general manager, Les Snead, had a good spread offense joke in response:

McVay’s question is one that we’ll find out the answer to this summer and fall. As for Hard Knocks? It’s scheduled to debut Aug. 11.
