To make a bad day worse, the Los Angeles Rams lost stud rookie Taylor Rapp to an apparent ankle injury in Week 4. He was carted off the field late in the third quarter after going down with an injury and is questionable to return.
He was unable to put any weight on his left leg as he was carried off the field by trainers.
It’s unclear exactly how the injury occurred, but Rapp was clearly in pain on the ground and even after he was lifted to his feet.
He’s been a huge asset on defense this season, playing significant snaps at safety and linebacker. The Rams use him as a dime linebacker and allow him to cover tight ends inside, as well.
