Reinforcements are headed up from the practice squad this week. The Los Angeles Rams announced on Saturday that they’ve promoted two players from the practice squad for their upcoming game against the Panthers.
They temporarily elevated Chandler Brewer and Ronnie Rivers, giving the team some added depth along the offensive line and in the backfield. Coleman Shelton and Brian Allen remain out with injuries, so Brewer is another body in that group.
Cam Akers won’t play due to personal reasons, and Rivers could get opportunities behind Darrell Henderson Jr. and Malcolm Brown. Both Rivers and Brewer will revert to the practice squad after Sunday’s game.
