Rams players react to Andrew Whitworth returning for 2019 season

The Los Angeles Rams got some outstanding news on Tuesday as left tackle Andrew Whitworth announced he’ll return for the 2019 season – his 14th year in the NFL. Whitworth was considering retirement after the end of the season and it wasn’t certain that he’d be back next season.

The 37-year-old will solidify the left side of the Rams’ offensive line for one more year, which certainly has fans, coaches and players excited. Jared Goff might be more thrilled than anyone around, having his big blindside protector back for another season.
