Rams place Odell Beckham Jr. and 6 others on COVID-19 reserve, activate Tyler Higbee

The Rams’ list of players on COVID-19 reserve continues to grow with each passing day. Coming out of Monday night’s win over the Cardinals, the Rams placed seven more players on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Those players are Odell Beckham Jr., Terrell Burgess, Brycen Hopkins, JuJu Hughes, Alaric Jackson, Sebastian Joseph-Day and Jonah Williams. They join Jalen Ramsey, Darrell Henderson Jr., Dont’e Deayon and Rob Havenstein on COVID-19 reserve.

It was reported earlier on Tuesday that Beckham tested positive after Sean McVay said he expected more positive tests within the Rams organization.

Fortunately, they activated Tyler Higbee off the reserve list after it was determined that his test was a false positive. He still had to miss Monday’s game against the Cardinals, though, as did the other four players who were placed on COVID-19 reserve.

For vaccinated players, they can return with two negative tests at least 24 hours apart. If they do not test negative twice, they can return after 10 days. Vaccinated individuals must isolate for 10 days, staying away from the team’s facility.

The Rams have already entered the league’s intensive protocols, closing their facility and working remotely on Tuesday and Wednesday.
