No one within the Rams organization has been more active in discussing the team’s brand refresh than COO Kevin Demoff. He’s enlightened fans on the process, while simultaneously trolling fans on Twitter.
He even wore a red and blue Rams hat to a combine-type event held by the team.
Demoff was eerily quiet over the weekend as Rams fans were in full-on meltdown mode over an apparent leaked logo. If you haven’t seen the logo in question by know, you must have been off the grid for the last two days.
He finally chimed in Monday afternoon with one tweet that included an iconic GIF from the movie “Anchorman.”
Saying the outrage “escalated quickly” would be a massive understatement, and it hasn’t died down one day later, either. Fans are still calling for the Rams to change their minds, if this is indeed their primary logo.
There’s still time for them to make a switch in that case, but patience is wearing thin within the fanbase.
