Cam Akers got his biggest workload of the season on Sunday against the Cardinals, carrying it 21 times for 72 yards. It seems that expanded role may have taken a toll on his body as he opened Week 14 on the injury report.
Akers was listed as a non-participant Monday due to a shoulder injury, though the Rams didn’t actually practice due to the short turnaround after Sunday’s game. Michael Brockers was also listed as DNP due to a neck injury, which Sean McVay described as a stinger.
Terrell Lewis was estimated as a limited participant coming off a knee injury that caused him to miss the last two games. And finally, Brian Allen was estimated to be a full participant, also with a knee injury that has lingered.
