Rams have 8th-best odds to win Super Bowl LV, tied with Steelers

Back in September before the regular season began, the Los Angeles Rams weren’t thought to be a legitimate Super Bowl contender by many. A difficult offseason filled with more losses than additions set expectations lower, which resulted in long odds to win a championship.

In fact, they were 50-1 (or +5000) to win it all this season, which was tied for 20th-best in the NFL. The Chargers and Cardinals were given better odds, as were the Broncos. But now in January, the Rams are one of the final 14 teams standing.

And according to BetMGM, they have a decent chance to win Super Bowl LV. Their odds sit at +2500, which is tied for eighth-best with the Steelers and Titans. The Packers, Saints, Buccaneers and Seahawks all have better odds than L.A., while the Bears and Washington are behind them in the NFC.

Unsurprisingly, the Chiefs are the favorites at +240. With a first-round bye and former MVP quarterback, the Chiefs look like the best team in football as the playoffs are set to get underway.

The Rams’ path to the Super Bowl begins in Seattle, and if they’re able to beat the Seahawks, they’ll be on the road once again in the divisional round. Unless the Bears upset the Saints this weekend, the Rams would visit Lambeau Field in the second round of the playoffs should they beat the Seahawks on Saturday.

The only way Los Angeles could host a playoff game is if the Bears make it to the conference championship alongside the Rams.
