Rams close out November without a win for 2nd straight year

Some men participate in “No Shave November,” letting their facial hair grow for the entire month. The Los Angeles Rams have started a new tradition the last two years called “No Win November,” losing every game they play in the month.

It’s hard to believe that the last time the Rams won a game in November was back in Week 11 of the 2020 season when they beat the Buccaneers, 27-24. In that game, Jared Goff threw for 376 yards and three touchdowns, getting no help from a rushing attack that gained only 37 yards on 20 carries.

Since then, the Rams have lost eight November games in a row: One in 2020, three in 2021 and four this season.

Believe it or not, they’re the only team in the NFL that hasn’t won a single game in November the last two seasons. They’re 0-7, which is worse than even the Texans (1-6), Bears (1-6) and Saints (1-7).

This season, they’ve been outscored 96-60 in four November games, an average margin of defeat of nine points per game. In 2021, they were outscored 95-54, losing by an average of 13.7 points per game.

All but five teams in the NFL have won at least two November games since 2021, and both the Chiefs and Dolphins are undefeated in the month. The Rams overcame their three-game November losing streak last year, but it’s proven to be too much this season.
