Rams-Browns is 2nd-highest selling NFL game in 2019

When the Los Angeles Rams’ 2019 schedule was released, the majority of eyes went to two games: Week 2 against the Saints and Week 3 against the Browns. Two of the Rams’ most important contests will be played back-to-back in the first quarter of the season, and neither will be an easy win.

Rams-Browns three years ago would’ve been on the lowest possible tier in terms of interest, but that’s no longer the case. The Browns are one of the most exciting teams in football after adding Baker Mayfield, Odell Beckham Jr., Jarvis Landry and Myles Garrett in the last couple of years, while the Rams boast an elite offense under Sean McVay.

Their Week 3 showdown with the Browns has the attention of fans everywhere and it shows in the ticket sales. According to Vivid Seats, Rams-Browns was the second-highest selling game in the NFL after the schedule was released on Wednesday. That’s based on the number of ticket orders that were placed.

Vivid Seats also has a graphic to show just how many tickets were placed on each teams’ home games and No. 1 on the list was the Browns. The Rams were 17th and the average ticket price for L.A. was $175.

The Rams-Browns Week 3 showdown will be Cleveland’s first time on Sunday Night Football since 2008. The Rams have won two in a row against the Browns and hold a slight edge in the all-time series, 12-11.
