Rams bring back Aaron Neary, two others with futures contracts

The Los Angeles Rams continue to build their 90-man roster coming out of the 2018 season, once again dipping into the well of their practice squad. After already signing several players to reserve/futures contracts, the Rams added three more on Friday.

The team announced it has signed Aaron Neary, Steven Parker and Ramon Richards to free agent contracts for 2019, adding them to the 90-man squad. All three players were on the Rams’ practice squad in 2018 practice squad.

Neary originally signed with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent in 2016 but was waived before the season started. He signed with the Eagles and remained with them for the entire season but was waived before the start of the 2017 campaign, at which point he was claimed by the Rams.

Neary played one game in 2017 but was waived last August and claimed by the Browns. Cleveland waived him shortly thereafter, leading to his second stint in L.A.

Parker, a defensive back out of Oklahoma, didn’t appear in any games and spent the season on the practice squad. The same goes for Richards, who went undrafted out of Oklahoma State.
