Rams are recognizing Juneteenth by supporting Black-owned businesses

The Los Angeles Rams are recognizing Juneteenth as a company holiday on Friday, giving staff members the day off. During this crucial fight against social injustice and racism, it’s good to see the Rams and so many others celebrating this important date.

In addition to making it a holiday for staffers, the Rams are also doing their part to support the local Black community. The teams is paying for employees’ meals at Black-owned businesses on Friday.

Furthermore, the Rams sent a tweet Friday of a list of Black-owned businesses that will have a special surprise for fans who visit them on Juneteenth.

COO Kevin Demoff sent a tweet of his own encouraging fans to visit these local restaurants and establishments in the Inglewood area.

Juneteenth is celebrated annually on June 19th, commemorating the official end of slavery in the United States in 1865.
