Rams are losing another assistant coach to the Seahawks

Another day, another coach gone from Sean McVay’s staff in Los Angeles.

According to Mike Silver of NFL Network, Rams assistant offensive line coach Andy Dickerson is leaving L.A. to join the Seattle Seahawks. He will be the team’s run game coordinator, working alongside Shane Waldron, whom the Seahawks hire as their offensive coordinator this week.

This marks six coaches the Rams have lost this offseason alone, as well as Brad Holmes and Ray Agnew in the front office.

Dickerson spent the last nine years as the Rams’ assistant offensive line coach. He worked on Jeff Fisher’s staff and was one of the final holdovers from that group.

The Rams offensive line bounced back in 2020 after a tough season the year prior, being ranked as the third-best unit in the NFL by Pro Football Focus.

McVay hasn’t done a lot to replace these assistant coaches just yet, only hiring Raheem Morris as his new defensive coordinator to take Brandon Staley’s place. The Rams still have time to fill out the staff, however, as it’s not even February.
