Rams activate Michael Brockers off reserve/COVID-19 list

After already activating Cooper Kupp off the reserve/COVID-19 list this week, the Los Angeles Rams have now done the same with Michael Brockers. He’s officially been added back to the 53-man roster after missing Week 17 while on COVID-19 reserve.

Brockers is eligible to play against the Seahawks on Saturday in the wild-card round, putting the Rams at full strength on the defensive line. He’ll take back his starting spot at defensive end, which was temporarily occupied by Morgan Fox for one week.

Brockers had one of the best seasons of his career in 2020. He posted five sacks, which are the most he’s had since 2013, as well as five tackles for loss and 10 QB hits – tied for the most in his career.

He also made 51 total tackles and was a key contributor against the run alongside Aaron Donald and Sebastian Joseph-Day. Brockers is an important player up front and having him back against a run-heavy Seahawks team will be a big boost for Los Angeles.
