Rams activate Jalen Ramsey, designate Jake Funk to return from IR

Jalen Ramsey is officially back. After spending almost a week on the reserve/COVID-19 list, Ramsey was activated on Sunday. He’s on track to play against the Seahawks on Tuesday after missing Week 14 against the Cardinals.

He was added to COVID-19 reserve just hours before kickoff last Monday and has been unable to practice or enter the team’s facility since then.

Additionally, the Rams designated Jake Funk to return from injured reserve. He’s been on IR since mid-October after tearing his hamstring. He’ll not only provide depth at running back behind Sony Michel and Darrell Henderson Jr., but he could also be a kick returner. When he went down with the injury, it was believed that he would miss the rest of the season, but he now has 21 days to practice and be activated to the 53-man roster.

The Rams made three other roster moves, restoring Grant Haley to the practice squad and elevating Kareem Orr and Damarious Randall from the practice squad to the active roster for Week 15.
