Rampaging bull smashes into bank and chases staff along its polished floors

A bull saw red when it smashed its way into an Israeli bank and chased staff down corridors before being captured in a trap.

The incident captured on camera was shot at a branch of Bank Leumi located in an industrial area in the city of Lod located near the city of Tel Aviv.

The incident started when the bull seen with a rope around its neck was dashing around a car park, before then making a break into the bank causing staff to panic.

Footage showed the panicked bull struggling to keep its feet on the polished floor of the bank, but still managing to chase terrified bank staff down corridors presumably looking for an exit.

It apparently took more than half an hour before the bull's owner finally arrived and together with the vet managed to extricate the panicked animal from the bank.

They set up a rodent trap at the end of one corridor and when it chased after them it was then tracked and captured without the need to tranquilize it.

The bank later made a statement about the incident, saying: "Early this morning, a bull entered one of Bank Leumi's office buildings in Lod. He was caught and led outside the facility.

"Meanwhile, the incident was reported to local authorities and the municipal veterinary services. No one was injured and no damage was caused."

Earlier this month, a Brit was left fighting for her life after being gored by an angry bison that left her with a hole in her leg.

Amelia Dean, 19, was launched 15ft into the air and was left with a punctured artery, causing incredible damage.

She was only able to escape the beast in South Dakota in the US when her friend managed to lead it away and called for an ambulance.

The relieved parents said: "We are beyond fortunate that our daughter is still breathing, as she should have bled out in two to eight minutes after the severed artery and the ambulance didn’t arrive for 20 minutes.

"It is a miracle that she is alive today. We believe that God put a veil of protection over Mia."
