Ramos, Varane, Hazard - Real Madrid confirmed team news and injury updates ahead of Chelsea game

Chelsea and Real Madrid will do battle for the right to face Manchester City in this season's Champions League final.

Tonight's semi-final second leg is evenly poised after the first-leg in Spain last week finished 1-1.

Christian Pulisic handed Chelsea a deserved early lead, before Karim Benzema scored with Los Blancos' only shot on target to ensure there is plenty to play for at Stamford Bridge.

However, Real Madrid have arrived in west London without three key players as Raphael Varane is out for 10 days, while Lucas Vazquez and Dani Carvajal are both out for the rest of the season.

Although, it's not all bad news for Zinedine Zidane.

With that said, here is a round-up of all the very latest Real Madrid team news and injury updates ahead of the big game against the Blues.

Sergio Ramos

Ramos has missed Madrid's last ten matches through a mixture of coronavirus and a muscle injury.

But considering that Zidane has admitted that his captain is ready and available for selection, it seems likely that he will start at Stamford Bridge.

"I'm not taking a risk," the Frenchman said when addressing the media on Tuesday evening.

"He is here with us so that means he is ready to play. That's it."

Marcelo

Marcelo is also available despite doubts that he would miss the second leg for bizarre reasons.

As a dual passport holder across Brazil and Spain, Marcelo was eligible to be called to serve on an electoral board on Tuesday and he was, listed as a substitute.

Yesterday morning, he turned up at his election centre in Madrid to register his presence, as he is legally obliged to, and according to RadioMarca, it looked as if he would go from being a substitute to active duty when one of the other members serving did not turn up.

But they turned up for duty and Marcelo was cleared to leave.

Therefore, Marcelo was cleared to fly with the rest of the Real Madrid squad to London and was pictured boarding the flight despite reports he would have to remain local until 10pm on Tuesday.

Federico Valverde

The midfielder, who has missed the last five games after contracting coronavirus, has given Real Madrid another boost ahead of facing Chelsea.

Valverde had to give two separate negative tests and he has now tested negative in his last test, making him available for selection.

Ferland Mendy is also available having been out of action since mid-April after picking up a calf injury, while Eden Hazard is in line to face his former club.

Luka Modric and Toni Kroos were rested for the 2-0 win over Osasuna at the weekend, but have been named in Zidane's squad for the massive game at Stamford Bridge.

Confirmed Real Madrid squad

Goalkeepers - Thibaut Courtois, Andriy Lunin, Diego Altube.

Defenders - Eder Militao, Sergio Ramos, Nacho Fernandez, Marcelo, Alvaro Odriozola, Ferland Mendy, Miguel Gutierrez.

Midfielders - Toni Kroos, Luka Modric, Casemiro, Fede Valverde, Isco, Sergio Arribas, Antonio Blanco.
