Ramon Foster supports former Steelers teammate Antonio Brown

For nine seasons, guard Ramon Foster and wide receiver Antonio Brown were teammates on the Pittsburgh Steelers. And as Foster said on Twitter on Monday, once a Steeler, always a Steeler. Foster took to social media to show support for his former teammate after Brown announced on Twitter he just wants to retire as part of the Steelers.

Foster’s journey to the NFL is a remarkable one. After going undrafted out of the University of Tennessee, Foster played 160 career games with 145 starts. By his third NFL season, Foster was fully entrenched as a starter. He went on to become one of the most underrated players in franchise history.

Brown’s journey somewhat parallels Foster’s. He came into the league largely unheralded as a sixth-round pick out of Central Michigan. Brown didn’t start immediately either, but once he was in the lineup, he never looked back.

Foster appeals to Steeler Nation to continue to support Brown after this tweet but has Brown burned all his bridges in Pittsburgh? Let us know in the comments below.
