Rammy at University of the West of Scotland halls in Hamilton

A woman who assaulted two police officers was found with a knife on another occasion.

Angela Liddle, 46, slapped one officer and kicked another during a disturbance at the University of the West of Scotland halls in Barrack Street, Hamilton, where she was living.

Hamilton Sheriff Court heard the incident happened on July 22.

An allegation that Liddle acted in a threatening or abusive manner was dropped.

She also admitted possessing a knife in Douglas Street, Hamilton, on August 7.

Liddle, now of Slenavon Avenue, Rutherglen, did not attend this week’s court hearing.

Sheriff Liam Murphy called for a criminal justice social work report and an electronic tagging assessment. Sentence was deferred until February 26.
