For centuries, men have walked around the streets in the middle of the night chanting and banging drums, an ancient practise in the Middle East during the holy month of Ramadan.
Police in Jerusalem, however, have begun to issue hefty fines as Jewish settlers who have moved into the area are complaining about the noise and their lack of sleep.
