Ramadan 2019 timetable for UK: The prayer, fasting and iftar times in London

Muslims all over the world will be fasting and taking time for spiritual reflection during the holy month of Ramadan.

Ramadan takes place from mid-May to mid-June, although the exact dates depend on the sighting of the moon.

This year, it is expected to begin on the evening of Sunday 5 May and end on Tuesday 4 June.

Prayer is also an integral part of Ramadan and Muslims will typically carry out five daily prayers - which they are also obliged to perform throughout the year.
