Robbers stole Rolex watches worth tens of thousands during a daring armed raid on a Knightsbridge store.
Mobile phone footage shows the masked raiders - who arrived on motorbikes - wielding crowbars and machetes, smashing through windows of the outlet near Harrods just before 11am on Tuesday.
Eyewitnesses saw the gang threatening staff with a huge knife close to the nearby central London Underground station.
The robbers made off with their haul on four mopeds, leaving behind a stolen moped that was used to enter the shop.
A broken glass cabinet is seen inside Bucherer Rolex Boutique at One Hyde Park in the footage of the raid.
A security guard at another luxury store told Metro: “There was a big crash like a road traffic accident then shouting and people running. It was chaos.
“I realised it wasn’t just a crash when I saw the bike in the Rolex store door.
“We all are told to look out for ram-raiders. They are a constant threat and our worst nightmare.”
The gang of thieves had already fled when the Metropolitan Police arrived within minutes of being called to the robbery.
They set up a cordon outside the store which is about 50 metres from the famous department store
Forensic officers were also spotted working at the crime scene collecting evidence.

Scotland Yard said: “We were called at 10:53hrs on Tuesday, 20 January, to reports of a robbery in progress at a shop on Knightsbridge. Officers were on the scene within minutes.
“Six suspects wearing motorcycle helmets attended the store, with a number entering and threatening staff and members of the public with weapons, including machetes. A moped was also used to enter the shop.
“The offenders made off on four mopeds after taking a number of high-value watches, leaving a stolen moped behind in the store.
“No injuries were reported.”
Detective Chief Inspector Scott Mather from the Met’s Flying Squad, who is leading the investigation, said: “This robbery was carried out in a busy part of London, and we understand the alarm it has caused.
“The Flying Squad specialises in tracking down organised robbers who use violence and intimidation, and our officers are working to identify and arrest those responsible.
“Officers were on scene within minutes and investigators are working at pace to piece together the offenders’ movements. We are determined to find those involved and bring them to justice as swiftly as possible.”
