Ralf Rangnick laughed off a report concerning Erling Haaland and Manchester United on Friday morning.
Rangnick was appointed as United's interim manager on Monday and he held his first press conference ahead of the weekend.
The German attended Old Trafford on Thursday night as United beat Arsenal 3-2 with Michael Carrick on the touchline - it was announced that Carrick would leave the club after the game - and Rangnick's first game in charge will be against Crystal Palace.
Rangnick faced questions from the media and he was asked about Haaland and a move to United.
Haaland worked with Rangnick at RB Salzburg and reports have emerged suggesting that he might receive a bonus at United for landing the Borussia Dortmund star, however, Rangnick laughed off that question with an endearing response.
"£10m for Erling Haaland, £10m for Kylian Mbappe, £10m for Robert Lewandowski and £10m for Joshua Kimmich," Rangnick chuckled as he pretended to flick through his notes during his press conference.
"This is nonsense obviously. There is no such clause in my contract. It doesn't make sense to speculate over any new players. Erling Haaland is a fantastic striker. I know best myself because I was together with the people at RB Salzburg at the time.
"I was also a little bit involved with the move [Haaland's] from Molde to Salzburg therefore I know what kind of player he is, but in the meantime, the whole world has realised how good the player is. Two years ago, it was only a few people who believed.
"I'm more than happy. The offensive players we have here, we have so many top players in the offensive department that we don't need to speak about any other players."
