With the news that Anthony Martial wants to leave Manchester United, interim manager Ralf Rangnick will have to find someone to fill the Frenchman's shoes.
Despite Martial making just four starts this season, no one in the current Red Devils squad has scored more goals than the 26-year-old during his time at the club.
But after a significant drop-off in form over the past two seasons, the acclaimed German coach already has his replacement waiting in the wings: Anthony Elanga.
The Telegraph report that the 19-year-old is set to be rewarded with a new long-term contract, having impressed Rangnick in training.
Elanga, who has been at the club since 2014, broke through under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at the back end of last season.

The Sweden youth international scored his first Premier League goal just 13 minutes into his second start, netting a decisive header in the 1-0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers on the final day.
And in pre-season, Elanga received heaps of praise from Solskjaer, particularly after bagging a well-taken strike against Queens Park Rangers.
"It would be easy to say the boy should go on loan, but he's doing so well," the former United boss admitted.
"He's electric, his pace, his skill, he's not afraid of anything and he's got the courage and the bravery of a Man United player and today he created chances for others and himself, and scored a good goal with his most difficult opportunity."
When the Red Devils faced Brentford just four days later and Elanga scored again, Solskjaer's analogy summed up how highly he regarded the teenager.
"The boy is electric, has energy and enthusiasm, he’s really enjoying himself," the Norwegian, who was sacked in November, added.
"He’s done himself the world of good. We know he’s a good player, we know he’s a good lad.
"He works so hard, he’s always smiley, bright, asking what more he needs to do, he’s so hungry to improve and get better.
"He can play wide left, wide right, up front.. so anywhere along the front line. He’s going to be an asset.
"If you ask him [Elanga] at half-time to run over to the cricket ground and get us a drink, he’d do it. That’s the type of lad he is."
Elanga's tenacity and work-rate makes him an ideal fit for Rangnick's style, one focused on energy and intensity.
Meanwhile, the current United manager has less time for Martial's agent, Philippe Lamboley, after he broke the news that Martial wanted out in the January transfer window.
Speaking following the 1-0 win at Norwich City, Rangnick firmly stated on the matter: "I don’t communicate with agents via the media or the press.
"The player hasn’t spoken with me or with us about it... To be honest, what his agent has said in the media is not that much of interest."
Then asked whether he would speak to Martial about Lamboley's comments, Rangnick affirmed: "No, because then I’d react to what the agent has said.
"It should be the player. If a player wishes to go to another club, it should be the player who informs either the board or myself, whoever.
"I have never spoken to a player via media or agents."
Regardless of what happens next month, rising star Elanga's future at Old Trafford looks much brighter than want-away Martial's does.
