Ralf Rangnick faces Manchester United mutiny as 11 stars want to quit amid stormy clique culture

Ralf Rangnick is facing a revolt at Manchester United with the dressing room split at Old Trafford.

Divisions are have formed within United’s squad and interim boss Rangnick is now facing the same woes as he predecessor Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

A source told The Mirror that as many as 11 players are pushing to leave the club after "becoming disillusioned with life at United."

It comes as poor results continue in the English Premier League while a host of players forgotten by Solskjaer continuing to be left out of Rangnick's vision for the club.

The report also notes that the German’s coaching has not impressed the big-money stars along with the quality of assistants selected to join him in Manchester.

It is claimed his power to overhaul the club, who are struggling to mount a challenge for the top four and Champions League spot, is further weakened after he was only given the role until the end of the current campaign.

The source described the mood behind the scenes as “not good", adding: "The atmosphere is really bad and it looks like there are going to be big problems ahead for United.”

Jesse Lingard, Donny van de Beek, Eric Bailly and Dean Henderson are among those players who have become frustrated at their failure to be given a chance under Rangnick.

The former two players have yet to start a Premier League game this season.

Stopper Henderson wants to go out on loan this month after falling back behind David De Gea in the pecking order.

Rangnick is unwilling to let Henderson leave, but the 23-year-old is desperate to be playing regularly, to ensure he is included in England’s World Cup squad for Qatar in December.
