It was a very sad day for Raju Srivastava’s family and friends as the ‘King of Comedy’ Raju Srivastava passed away at the age of 58 on Wednesday, September 21 after being admitted to AIIMS, Delhi. It was his nephew Kunal who had confirmed the news to Etimes TV.
Today the entire family is in Delhi for the final rites of comedian at Nigambodh Ghat. Raju Srivastava's daughter Antara Srivastava thanked her father's dearest friends and family members who paid their condolences on social media.
Antara replied to a few of the stories on her Instagram page and shared her gratitude for being there for her family and her dad. She replied back to actor Juhi Babbar Soni, filmmaker Kahri Babbar and others.

While his last rites are being performed in Delhi at Nigambodh Ghat Raju’s close friends from the industry Ahsaan Quresh and Sunil Pal arrived there and paid their last respects.
On hearing the news, several national leaders and celebrities, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP National President JP Nadda, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Riteish Deshmukh, and Kapil Sharma, expressed their condolences to Raju Srivastava's family.
