Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK are setting up the stage for an ambitious web series. They have smartly kept the subject under wraps so far, but ETimes definitely has it that the two have Rajkummar Rao and Diljit Dosanjh in mind for the same.
The female leads and the balance cast is yet to be decided. When contacted, Anu (Associate producer and DK's wife) confirmed that a web show is being made at their end, but as for the casting, she chose to put it as, "Rajkummar and Diljit are surely under consideration but we haven't signed them as yet. There are some actors too who are under consideration."
However, our source maintained, "Rao and Diljit are doing the web series. If you have been told that they haven't signed, then it's just a matter of time before they do."
This will be Rao's second outing with Raj-DK. Rao was the male lead in 'Stree', while Shraddha Kapoor played the title role.
Besides producing 'Stree', Raj-DK are best known for creating and directing 'The Family Man' and 'Go Goa Gone'.
