Rajkot reports 573 new Covid cases

RAJKOT: The Rajkot district reported as many 573 new Covid cases on Thursday out of which 440 people tested positive from Rajkot city.

According to officials, cases in the city crossed the 400-mark for the first time in the last six months.

Currently, 1,915 people are under treatment in Rajkot city. One Covid death was reported from Rajkot rural area as a 73-year-old man with comorbidities succumbed to the virus. In Bhavnagar 236 people tested positive while 216 new Covid cases were reported from Jamnagar district. Kutch district reported 129 new cases on Thursday.
